Dogwood Hills Guest Farm is a unique, hands on farm experience for all ages. Whether you want to sit on the deck and look out over the pastures from the hot tub, or get you hands dirty and help in the barn, it's your choice. Dogwood Hill is a working homestead farm where you can stay in your own private, spacious and fully equipped farmhouse.
While you are here enjoying farm life, you can also explore Searcy County's great hiking trails, float the Buffalo National River, unwind at the local swimming hole, go mountain biking or sit, be still and enjoy watching the abundant birds and wildlife. ABOUT THE FARM
Join the owners for daily chores: milk goats and cows, groom Pollywog (the mini horse), collect fresh eggs from our hens, feed the animals, and even check in on newborn animal "babies" as they arrive. Animals on the farm include: cows, horses, goats, sheep, rabbits, chickens, ducks and, of course, dogs and cats.
Certain aspects are seasonal. In addition to having the hands on experiences assisting in attending to the animals, hike among the goats free-ranging in 40 acres of fenced in wooded trails. From berries to buffalo, you will also have the ability to set up additional farms to visit during your stay.
There are even several demonstrations and classes based on availability in season. Our certified teaching kitchen opens in the spring of 2017 to further enhance your experience.
