We moved from New Jersey in 2007 and began life in the Ozarks. Our homestead farm slowly grew as Grace became involved in 4-H and started showing animals. Now we bring guests in from all over the country who want to "experience life on the farm" with us. Thomas, the Reluctant Farmer, works full time and then some for Hospice and Home Care in Harrison. Ruth and Grace are actively involved in Arkansas tourism, agritourism, and appear for a community spotlight on Good Morning Arkansas each month sharing recipes or farm happenings.

Guestimonials
"...the experience that Ruth, Grace and the "Reluctant Farmer"provided was one for the books. Hospitality-bar none. Ruth and Grace truly take pride in what they have cultivated for the past 16 years. ...My family and I felt welcomed from the moment we drove down the driveway until the moment we left. The food-wow. Just clean eating. No preservatives, no fluff, no artificial anything. Absolutely wonderful. Delicious breakfasts and dinners. My wife and I have eaten at fine dining establishments, but we would rather eat here every day." S.T. Kang, Little Rock, AR

“I was part of a farm tour this past Tuesday of Dogwood Hills Guest Farm, and I enjoyed it so much! Great food and wonderful hospitality! I would encourage all those interested in learning more about the farm life to visit this very special place.” -D.W. Brown Arkansas Parks and Tourism
"We had a wonderful 4 nights at this stunning location. The hot tub on the deck was lovely but the real highlight was the commitment and passion of our hosts Ruth, Thomas and Grace. It is evident they are pouring their heart and soul into the farm, and are happy to share their knowledge with guests. Polliwog, the miniature horse was a favorite with our 2 girls. We had a magical time here and would highly recommend a visit!" -T. Farmer, Australia
